Credit cards needing additional authorization are no problem with Unit Trac.  When a card is first entered or when a recording a payment and the card is required to have additional authorization by the card holder prior to the payment processing you'll see the following screen at the bottom of the Record a Payment screen.  

Sending this email to your customer will send them a link to securely authorize the payment to you.  

Until your customer authorizes the payment though, it will be shown on their account as a 'Pending Autorization Payment.'  Those charges will be identified with the orange credit card logo on your customers Payments and Invoicing until that charge and card has been authorized.
