How safe is my customer's credit card information?

Unit Trac has gone to great lengths to protect your information.

Stripe was chosen as our partner because they are a well respected credit card processor that powers many of the transactions you make from other sites.  Along with being well respected, they are something called PCI Level 1 Compliant.  To gain this certification, a company must meet a high bar for information security.

As soon as you enter the credit card number into Unit Trac, it gets passed to Stripe and we can no longer access those details.  When it's time to charge a card, we simply point to a customer and ask for their card to be charged (without knowing the number on it). Our servers reside in a facility in the US that complies with many security standards (HIPAA, PCI, etc).  We encrypt all communications between your computer and our servers using the latest encryption methods.

There is a human element to all this as well.  We are continuously monitoring activity within Unit Trac.  If we notice strange behavior within your account we will reach out to you. (e.g. sign in attempts made from foreign countries.)
