Stripe Upgrade Walk Through
Upgrade Your Stripe Credit Card Integration
Upgrading your Stripe account is easy and will provide enhanced security for a higher level of fraud protection for you and your customers. Read through the steps outlined below for an example of what the upgrade process will look like.
Getting Started
Sign into Unit Trac and go to your Credit Card page (Business > Credit Cards)
Click "Upgrade Now"
From there, you will simply need to enter the requested information on each screen until the process is complete. The information required to complete the upgrade may vary depending on your location.
Step One
a. Enter your email adddress and phone number. Make sure the phone number you enter is able to receive text messages.
b. Click "Continue"
Step Two
a. You will receive a code via text message on the phone number entered in Step One
b. Enter the 6-digit code to verify your login
Step Three
a. Enter your EIN (or Social Security Number) and your business phone number
b. Click "Continue"
Step Four
a. Enter relevant information of the business owner(s)
b. Click "Continue"
Step Five
a. Enter your banking information for the account you would like to use for payments
b. Click "Save"
Step Six
a. Review the accuracy of the information you entered in previous steps
b. Update any information that is missing. Items that need your attention will appear in a red box on your screen
c. Click "Submit"
More Tips
1. Please fill out all fields with the information on file with the business/government authority. Missing or incorrect information may lead to a suspended account.
2. If prompted to choose an "Industry" for your business, we suggest choosing Travel & Lodging > Property Rentals.
3. If you're having trouble and are not sure how to proceed, please reach out to us for help. Don't stress if you get stuck - your credit card charges will continue to use your previous integration until the upgrade is complete.
